Hey all you amazing people! I've got a lot of new workshops coming up. Click here to view them. Email my awesome and amazing assistant, heather@rawmelissa.com if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!
GOJI Berries. So I get the word about these berries from you. I read what you wrote and listened to the audio (really nice voice by the way) you did and then did some research and inquired about growing them. I took two sun dried berries, placed them in a wet napkin for three hours. I then sliced them open and their were about 20 or so seeds. I took these seeds and planted them in a pot outside my front door. They do not grow very fast and will not mature for two or more years, but by golly, I have GOJI Berry plants growing. I am so excited. I have melons, and peas and all sorts of stuff growing. Sure wish you would right more consistently.
Hello! I own a company called RawMelissa that sells extraordinary healthy gourmet desserts and offers nutrition coaching and education to those wanting to live healthier lives. I produce an internet cooking show that can be seen on my website at www.rawmelissa.com, and have a blog and podcast, both of which are, of course, all about food. I was the "Sweets Expert" for The Healthy Living Kids Show, an internet tv program out of Valencia, California, and was a contributor to the recently released book, "Happy Days, Healthy Living" by Cathy Silvers. I've also contributed to magazines about nutrition and fitness for children, and have been a doula (birth assistant) and childbirth educator for over a decade, having helped several hundred couples during pregnancy and childbirth. I am also one of two DONA Approved Doula Trainers in Utah and I love training women to help other women in this capacity. I'm currently working on the production of several cooking shows and educational food publications, and am writing a book about food and love.
